Our vision is to provide young people with a safe space, essential resources, and the support they need to grow and thrive. We are working hard to connect with local schools, ensuring that every young person knows about the opportunities available at TCTDC. Together, we’re building a foundation that will empower the next generation of leaders.
Shawn Wade is the dedicated founder of Total Capacity Training and Development Center, located in Hillside, Illinois. Established in 2020, the organization was born from Shawn’s own journey of self-discovery and a deep desire to uplift youth through empowerment, support, confidence, and personal development.
A proud product of a community that believes in giving back, Shawn embodies that same spirit of service. Her commitment to doing her part has guided her mission to create a safe, nurturing space where youth can grow, learn, and thrive.

Beyond her professional role, Shawn is a devoted mother to one daughter and a proud grandmother of two grandsons. Her family, values, and lived experiences continue to inspire her work and fuel her passion for community engagement and development.
